Location and Directions 1066 Therapy
Weathertop, 119 Hastings Road, Battle, East Sussex, TN33 0TH
1066 Therapy, Location and Directions. Firstly, we are conveniently situated on the A2100 between Battle & St Leonards. However, we are down a private, un-made track which isn’t always on SatNavs. Please print out or note down these directions and bring them with you – you will need them!
Location and Directions:
From the East/From Hastings – Take the A2100, Hastings Road, towards Battle. About a quarter of a mile after passing the Crowhurst Holiday Village (on your left), before you go round a slight bend and start to descend Battle Hill, there is a pair of large white concrete bollards on the right hand side of the road at the top of an unmade farm track. The track is opposite 100 Hastings Road. Please turn right between the pair of bollards and proceed down the private, un-made track. Then see below…
From the West/From Battle – Take the A2100, Hastings Road, towards Hastings. About a mile up the hill after passing the Rail Station (on your left) and the Tesco/Esso garage (on your right), you will pass ‘101 Acorns’ on the left. After a short way, there is a three-storey cream-painted building on the left (no 115). Just around the next corner, (so you will need to slow down), there are a pair of large white concrete bollards at the top of an unmade farm track. Please turn between the bollards on the left and proceed down the private, un-made track. Then see below…
Once on the unmade track:
For either direction – About 60-70 yards down the track you will drive over a small cattle grid (you might not see it but you will feel it in your car!). Weathertop’s large wooden entrance gates with brick pillars are then the first entrance on the left – there are post and rope ‘fences’ outside. There is a house sign on the fence.Â
**Please hook back the gates after opening them – they are heavy and will move in the slightest of winds – then drive in and shut the gates behind you: please do the same when you leave also.**Â
Park in the gravelled area on the right opposite the property. Please do not park anywhere on the track or in front of the gates or on the grass. Once parked, please follow the path opposite the parking area around the left side of the property to our front entrance. Go right at the fork in the path, under the wooden arch and look for a French window entrance with square leaded glass and silver coloured handles.
NOTE: We don’t own the lane outside Weathertop. As a result, please always drive in (closing the gates behind you) and park in the parking area – thank you.
