Children at 1066 Hypnotherapy
In addition, the bottled up emotions can cause anxiety and stress which has a knock-on effect on existing conditions such as asthma, eczema, habits, behavioural problems and similar, by making them considerably worse. Problems which may be helped by this therapy include,
The IAPH method of treating children and teenagers is called “The Blowaway Technique”. It is a technique, using hypnosis, which is highly successful in treating all manner of children’s and teenager’s problems. It is a non-verbal therapy that helps the child release bottled up emotions without them having to say, or try to explain, exactly what it is that is troubling them - in most cases they wouldn't know what was troubling them anyway! The nature of this therapy, being non-verbal, helps the child to be free from the worry about being judged or 'put on the spot' in any way. The therapy is carried out with one or preferably both parents (or guardians) in attendance but attention is focused at all times on the child. The therapy will be explained during the session. Children respond very well to hypnotherapy, provided they have a decent attention span, and the Blowaway Technique makes use of their excellent capacity for imagination by using guided visualisation to enable them to release the bottled up emotions which are causing their problems. It is also helped by the fact that children and young people do not have all the 'layers' to wade through that adults inevitably build up over the years. The therapy is suitable for most children aged between 8 and 16 years of age although it is possible in some cases to offer the therapy to those outside of this age range.
The Blowaway Technique usually needs just one session to bring about positive change and improvement but occasionally a second session a week later may be required or your child may need to come back for top-up sessions from time to time. If the problem your young child or teenager is suffering from is not listed please contact me to discuss the situation and your requirements. All children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
